For currently enrolled students, registration for the new semester begins around the midsemester break. Course recommendations are customized and sent to you as an email attachment from registration@ccr.edu to your CCR email account.  Watch for this email and register early to ensure placement in the courses of your choice.

What do I need to do to register for classes?

Watch for an email from registration@ccr.edu announcing the start of registration around the midterm break. The email will have an attachment with important information regarding your progress and recommendations. Follow the steps outlined in the email attachment to start the registration process. Please note that you are not automatically enrolled in courses. You must follow the steps in your registration letter to start the registration process. Once you have confirmed your preferred class days/ times, you will receive a final confirmation concerning your schedule. Once confirmed, it is important that you order required textbooks and necessary materials to be prepared for the next semester. Only order required textbooks after your registration has been confirmed.

Can I take whatever courses I want in the order I want to take them?

Many courses have prerequisites, and some courses are recommended at certain speedbuilding levels. Course descriptions are provided in the catalog.

There are additional requirements outlined in your catalog under the heading Standards of Satisfactory Progress, and your specific progress concerning these standards is reviewed in your registration letter. Where is the course schedule and the book listing for required textbooks?

Where can I get a schedule that shows all the breaks and holidays?

Can I withdraw or drop a course once the semester has begun?

If you must add or drop a course, the best time is within the first week of the semester. The add/drop and withdrawal process is reviewed in your catalog. Please contact registration@ccr.edu to review your options if you must make a change after your registration has been confirmed.

Can I discuss my course plan and my speedbuilding progress with someone?
